Is there a monthly fee?
No per-camera subscription. You pay once to design and install the system, and the recorder in your building keeps recording whether or not you buy anything else from us. Ongoing support is optional—either part of your managed IT plan or as needed.
Where is the video stored?
On a recorder in your building, sized for the retention you want—commonly 30 to 90 days depending on camera count and resolution. Nothing is held in someone else’s cloud, and you can still view everything remotely from your phone.
How many cameras do we actually need?
Usually fewer than a quote will suggest. We place cameras where they answer questions—entrances, point of sale, stockrooms, docks, and parking—rather than covering every wall. A walkthrough normally settles it in half an hour.
What does a business camera system cost?
It depends on camera count, how far the cable has to run, and how long you need to keep footage. We quote the whole system as one number—design, cameras, cabling, recorder, and installation—so there are no per-camera surprises later.
Can we watch the cameras from our phones?
Yes. Managers get an app with live views and the ability to scrub back, find a moment, and save or send a clip in seconds. You control who has access and which cameras they can see.
Do the cameras still work if the internet goes down?
Yes. Recording is local, so an outage only affects remote viewing. The footage keeps being captured and is waiting for you when the connection comes back.
Do you handle the cabling and the network too?
Yes, and it matters. Cameras run on your network, so we handle the cable, the switch, the power, and the segmentation that keeps camera traffic off the same lane as your business systems.
