Digital signage & menu boards · Northern Virginia & the DMV

Screens that sell, and stay current.

A price change, a sold-out item, or a new special goes up across every screen in about a minute—no ladder, no printer, no laptop taped behind the TV. We design it, mount it, and keep it running.

  • No per-screen license
  • Built to run open to close
  • Updates handled for you

Why businesses call us

A printed menu is cheap until the third time you reprint it.

Most signage fails for the same two reasons: consumer hardware that was never built to run all day, and content nobody on staff knows how to change. We solve both.

We design the layout

Screen count, size, and placement come from where people actually stand and look—not from what fits the wall you had in mind.

We install it clean

Mounted level, cable in the wall, player out of sight. Nothing dangling, nothing balanced on a shelf behind the counter.

It changes when you do

Send us the price change or make it yourself. Either way it is live on every screen the same day, not next quarter.

We support it

Same local team as your network and phones. One number when a screen goes dark on a Saturday.

What you actually get

Boards that read clearly and change without a project.

Menus you can change in a minute

Raise a price, kill a sold-out item, or push a special across every board at once. Type is sized to be read from the back of the line, not from three feet away.

Bright enough for the real room

Commercial panels hold up against daylight in a storefront or lobby, where a consumer TV washes out by mid-morning and dims for good within a year.

Content on a schedule

Breakfast in the morning, dinner at four, promos on the weekend. Set the schedule once and the screens run themselves.

The cost question

Pay for the screens. Not a license on each one, forever.

Signage vendors mostly sell you a monthly plan per screen. That model makes sense at two hundred locations. At three screens in one building, it is just rent.

The subscription way

  • A monthly license on every screen, renewing forever
  • A consumer TV never rated to run twelve hours a day
  • A laptop or streaming stick taped behind the display
  • Content only one person on staff knows how to change
  • Dark screens the moment the plan lapses

The Knockout way

  • One install price, with no per-screen monthly license
  • Commercial panels built for open-to-close operation
  • A managed player mounted behind the screen, out of sight
  • Updates we handle, or a clean hand-off to your team
  • Screens that keep playing on their own

Screen count, size, and whether the wall already has power and cable move the number most—so we walk the space and quote the whole job as one price.

Questions

Straight answers.

Can we update the content ourselves?

Yes, if you want to. Most clients send us the change and we push it; others prefer to run it themselves, and we train whoever will own it. Either way you are never locked out of your own screens.

Is there a monthly fee per screen?

No per-screen license. You pay once to design and install the system. Ongoing content changes are either part of your plan with us or something your team handles—your choice.

Can we just use a regular TV?

You can, and it usually dies inside a year or two. Consumer TVs are rated for a few hours a day and are not bright enough for a sunny storefront. Commercial panels are built to run open to close and get bright enough to fight daylight.

What does digital signage cost?

It comes down to screen count and size, how high the mount is, and whether the wall already has power and cable. We walk the space and quote displays, mounts, players, cabling, and installation as one number.

What happens if the internet goes down?

The screens keep playing. Content lives on a small player at each display, so an outage only stops new updates from arriving—it does not blank your menu during a lunch rush.

Can you do a row of menu boards that lines up?

Yes, and lining them up is most of the work. Stud spacing rarely matches screen spacing, so we use mounts that shift laterally after they are on the wall and set the row true rather than close enough.

Can this tie in with our music and meeting room screens?

Yes, and it is cheaper to do together. Signage, background music, and room displays share walls, cable paths, and a single site visit—so we scope them as one job whenever the timing allows.
